We are learning Steven Covey's 7 habits of Happy Kids and discovering how to find the "Leader in Me".
Try the Student Schoolyard by clicking Student Schoolyard.

1. Be proactive.
2. Begin with the end in mind.
3. Put first things first.
4. Think win-win.
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
6. Synergize.

In September, we have started by building a foundation for the habits by learning about habits and paradigms.

Habits are something we do so often we don't even have to think about them.

We talked about good habits and decided that some of the good habits we already have are:

1) Eating a good breakfast before we come to school.

2) Putting our linkbooks open on our desk when we get

to school.

3) Washing our hands before we eat.

4) Reading every day.

We are having fun building new habits.

A paradigm is the way you see something. It is your point of view.

At the Peace Run we "Celebrated Differences" and talked about how it changes your paradigm if you celebrate differences instead of simply tolerating differences.
